CRMA Privacy Policy

Protecting your privacy is important to CRMA. We strive to keep your personal information confidential. We only deliver IT information at an acceptable frequency. By ensuring that you are aware of and understand the privacy policy of CRMA, we can provide you a more personalized and confidential service. This document outlines exactly how we handle your personal information.

Why we collect information

CRMA collects and uses your personal information to give you the most personalized and convenient access to our information delivery services, and to make a wider range available to you. In specific, we use your personal information to keep you up to date on the latest IT news, vendor marketing tools like e-mmercials, product announcements, special offers/promotions, and other information we think you’d like to hear about—all related to the computer industry. This may occasionally include exclusive information from other technology companies about products and services that can add value to your business. From time to time, we may also use your personal information to contact you to participate in a market research survey, so that we can gauge customer satisfaction and develop better services.

How we collect information

We collect information about you in several ways. For example, we ask you for your contact information and interests when you subscribe to CRMA or we might ask for your contact information when you correspond with us, respond to our e-mmerciel’s e-reader response system, register to attend a seminar, or participate in an online survey.

When we disclose information

Unless you instruct us to pass-on your information to another company for them to communicate directly with you, we will never disclose your information to any other company whatsoever. You will need to fill in the e-reader response inquiry or agree during a market survey before your information is forwarded to any company. If a company would like to reach you, then they must do so through our broadcasting systems, and then, only companies with products or services that could be of real value relating to the IT industry will be considered for this purpose.

At times we may be required by law or legal process to disclose your personal information. We may also disclose information about you if we believe that disclosure is necessary for the public security interest.

How we protect your information

CRMA safeguards the security of the data you send us with physical, electronic, and managerial procedures. We urge you to take every precaution to protect your personal data when you are on the Internet. Change your passwords often, use a combination of letters and numbers, and make sure you use a secure browser.

Un-Subscribing to CRMA

If you have un-subscribed to CRMA, your information is permanently deleted from our system and you will never be contacted in the future (usually we will send you one final e-mail stating that your record has been deleted from our system to show you that we have fulfilled your un-subscribe instructions) nor will we use your personal information in a new manner. The only way to continue to receive information form CRMA is to re-subscribe.

NOTE: We find that some contacts will un-subscribe if they receive some information that was of lesser or no value to their particular interests, but later re-subscribe or re-contact us to say that would have liked to receive our communications on a topic of their interests. Although we cannot guarantee that we can always deliver information that meets your needs 100%, we are certain that sooner or later we will deliver some information that will be of great value to you. If you complete our detailed subscription form, then we can better customize the information that we send to you in the future. It is our ultimate goal to only send you information that you want to receive – the more we know of what you want to get, the better we can reach this goal.

CRMA list building program

From time to time, CRMA may procure some “known” list of reseller contacts. We will send selected issues of CRMA to this list to demonstrate the value add of our informational free service and to encourage you to subscribe. Everything we offer is without any obligations and it is always FREE. CRMA will ONLY target lists makes up of computer resellers. In all cases, if the contact notifies us in anyway whatsoever, we will delete them from all of our e-broadcasting lists.

When you browse CRMA’s website, you are able to do so anonymously.

Like many websites, the CRMA website uses “cookie” technology. When you first connect to our site, the cookie identifies your browser with a unique, random number. The cookies we use do not reveal any personal information about you. Cookies help us understand which parts of our websites are the most popular, where our visitors are going, and how long they spend there. We use cookies to study traffic patterns on our site so we can make the site even better.

In some of our email to you, we use a “click-through URL.” When you click one of these URLs, you pass through our web server before arriving at the website that is your destination.
